Using MenuLens is simple:
- Open the MenuLens app
- Take a photo of the menu or select one from your photo library
- Choose your target language
- Tap "Translate Menu"
- View translations with food images and nutritional information
MenuLens needs access to your photo library to:
- Select previously taken photos of restaurant menus for translation
- Save translated menu results to your photo library (if you choose to)
Your photos are only used for translation purposes and are not stored on our servers or shared with third parties.
If you encounter an incorrect translation:
- Try taking a clearer photo with better lighting
- Ensure the menu text is in focus and not blurry
- Report the issue through the app's feedback feature
- Contact our support team with details about the incorrect translation
We continuously improve our translation accuracy based on user feedback.
If food images aren't loading:
Troubleshooting Steps:
- Check your internet connection
- Try closing and reopening the app
- Ensure you have the latest version of MenuLens
- Some dishes may not have available images
Free users can translate up to 50 menu items per day. This limit resets every 24 hours.

The food images shown are representative and may not exactly match the actual dishes served. Images are sourced to give you a general idea of what the dish looks like. Actual presentation may vary depending on:
